Warranty:
A-AIR warrants, to the
original purchaser, that all
light duty compressors to be free of
defects for a standard period
of twelve months from the date of
original purchase.
A-AIR warrants, to the
original purchaser, that all
heavy duty compressors to be free of
defects for a standard period
of six months from the date of
original purchase. Only A-AIR, at its own
facility, shall determine
valid warranty. Compressor
warranty does not extend to
other A/C or electrical system components.
Our sole obligation, under
this warranty, shall be to
repair or replace any
defective product that is
returned to us. Warranty
requests must have a RMA
issued by A-AIR prior
to return. Damage caused by
installation, abuse or any use
not intended for the product
will void the warranty. For
parts NOT found
defective, a notice of
inspection/ findings will be
sent to the purchaser and the
return of the product will be
at the purchaser's expense.
A-AIR will not accept or
pay any labor or incidental
charges associated with the
replacement of parts under
warranty. Warranty part must
be returned, freight pre-paid,
to A-AIR. A-AIR
will return ship warranty
parts via UPS Ground freight
pre-paid. A-AIR
does not authorize any person,
representative, company, or
organization other than A-AIR's
management to assume for it
any other liability in
connection with the sale, use
or shipment of our product.
A-AIR shall be, in no
event, liable for damages
beyond the price paid by the
customer for such defective
products and shall not be
liable for any incidental or
consequential damages
whatsoever.
Warranty Shall Not Apply
To:
Any product or part, which has
been subjected to misuse,
negligence or accident.
A-AIR shall not be
responsible for any special or
consequential damages and the
warranty as set forth is in
lieu of all other warranties,
either expressed or implied.
A-AIR makes no warranty
of merchantability in respect
to any products for any
particular purpose other than
that stated by the original
manufacturer.
Compressor Warranty Void
without exception If:
- Compressor not
installed in accordance with
instructions and/or methods
as set forth in service
manuals generally accepted
by the trade.
- Compressor not
installed by properly
certified or factory
authorized service
technicians.
- System is NOT flushed and
purged properly, with an
approved solvent, prior to
installation.

- Failure to replace the
drier/accumulator and
expansion valve/orifice tube
when the compressor is
installed.
- Failure to replace the
condenser (in addition to
the above items) on systems
utilizing either a scroll or
rotor veined compressor.
This includes but is not
limited to the following: all Sanden TR
compressors, all
Seiko-Seiki compressors, all Mitsubishi
compressors, all Diesel Kiki
/ Zexel DKV or DCV
compressors, and 10S series Denso
compressors.

Failure to replace a
Parallel-Flow or Multi-Flow
condenser regardless of
compressor type.
- There exists Clogged
Orifice Tube, Expansion
Valve, malfunctioning relays
or pressure switches at time
of compressor installation.
- Use of any refrigerant
other than R12 or R134a with
their compatible lubricants.
- Use of any
lubricants
which are not in
compliance with the
specifications and
capacity as set for by
the OEM (i.e., ISO Viscosity
/ SUS Viscosity).
- Evidence that incorrect
or incompatible chemicals
have been used.
- No serial number or
A-Air ID on unit, which
corresponds to our records.
- Bent or burned clutch on
a functional compressor.
- Compressor or clutch
assembly damaged, altered,
disassembled or wires cut.
*On
systems that can be flushed
without clogging or otherwise
damaging the condenser or
evaporator.
