The compressor, condenser, drier, evaporator and the thermal expansion valve are some Suzuki car parts that may need to be replaced in an A/C system.

Replacement Suzuki Car A/C Parts

The Suzuki car A/C system contains the following parts:

  • The A/C compressor pumps vaporized coolant from the low-pressure side of the system into the high-pressure side.
  • The condenser turns the vaporized coolant into a much colder liquid.
  • The drier uses a chemical desiccant to remove excess moisture from the coolant lubricant.
  • The evaporator takes in liquid coolant. Warm air is passed over the evaporator, and the heat is transferred to the coolant, warming it up into a vapor again.
  • A thermal expansion valve or thermal block valve determines how much coolant enters the evaporator. Which part depends on the Suzuki model.
  • An accumulator takes in excess liquid coolant to ensure that none of it reaches the compressor. Some systems use a drier/accumulator.

One of the most common problems that can occur in a car or truck A/C system is a coolant-level problem. Too little coolant can cause the system to work less efficiently. Too much can cause pressure problems that make the compressor seize. Make sure the coolant is compatible with the lubricant used and the ratios are correct. Too little lubricant can also cause the compressor to seize.
