A-AirOnline AC Parts Warrany Policy
NEW AND REMANUFACTURED COMPRESSOR WARRANTY
A-AirOnline warrants, to the original purchaser only, all light duty compressors to be free of defects for a standard period of twelve (12) months from the date of original purchase. A-AirOnline warrants, to the original purchaser only, all heavy duty compressors to be free of defects for a standard period of six (6) months from the date of original purchase. Only A-AirOnline, at its own facility, shall determine valid warranty. Compressor warranty does not extend to other A/C or electrical system components.
Our sole obligation, under this warranty, shall be to repair or replace any defective product that is returned to us. Warranty requests must be accompanied by a Return Material Authorization (RMA) issued by A-AirOnline prior to return (see Returns and Cancellations section under “Ordering Info tab on Home Page for RMA procedures). Warranty part must be returned, freight pre-paid, to A-AirOnline. A-AirOnline will return ship warranty parts via UPS Ground freight prepaid.
Warranty shall NOT apply to damage caused by improper installation, misuse, negligence, accident or any other action not specifically intended for the proper installation and use of the product. A-AirOnline shall not be responsible for any special or consequential damages and the warranty as set forth is in lieu of all other warranties, either expressed or implied. A-AirOnline makes no warranty of merchantability in respect to any products for any particular purpose other than that stated by the original manufacturer.
For parts found NOT defective, a notice of inspection and A-AirOnline determination of claim will be sent to the purchaser. Return of product found NOT defective will be at purchaser’s expense.
A-AirOnline does not authorize any person, representative, company, or organization other than A-AirOnline management to assume for it any other liability in connection with the sale, use or shipment of our product. A-AirOnline shall be, in no event, liable for damages beyond the price paid by the customer for such defective products and shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages whatsoever. A-AirOnline will not pay labor, associated parts, refrigerant or incidental charges associated with the replacement of parts under warranty.
COMPRESSOR WARRANTY VOID WITHOUT EXCEPTION IF:
- Compressor is not installed in accordance with instructions and/or methods as set forth in service manuals issued by the vehicle manufacturer or certified/ recognized organizations accepted by the trade
- Compressor is not installed by properly certified or factory authorized service technicians
- System is NOT completely flushed and purged properly, with an approved solvent, prior to installation (applies to systems that can be flushed without clogging or otherwise damaging the condenser or evaporator)
- Installer failsto replace the drier/accumulator and expansion valve/orifice tube when the compressor is installed
- Installer failsreplace the condenser (in addition to the drier/accumulator and expansion valve/orifice tube) on systems utilizing either a scroll or rotor veined compressor. This includes but is not limited to the following
- Sanden TR compressors
- Seiko-Seiki compressors
- Mitsubishi compressors
- Diesel Kiki / Zexel DKV or DCV compressors
- 10S series Denso compressors
- Installer fails to replace a Parallel Flow or Multi Flow condenser regardless of compressor type
- There is presence of aclogged or improperly functioning Orifice Tube or Expansion Valve, malfunctioning relays or pressure switches at time of compressor installation and/or initial startup
- ANY refrigerant other than R12 or R134a (with their compatible lubricants) is utilized
- ANY lubricant which is not in compliance with the specifications and capacity as directed by the original equipment manufacturer (i.e., ISO Viscosity / SUS Viscosity) is utilized
- Evidence exists (e.g., residue) that incorrect or incompatible chemicals have been used.
- There is no serial number or A-AirOnline identification number or marking on compressor which corresponds to A-AirOnline records
- Clutch hub, pulley or coil is bent or burned on an otherwise functional compressor
- Compressor or clutch assembly is damaged, altered, disassembled or wires cut
- Compressor body or mounts are broken or disfigured due to improper installation or droppage
- Mounting ear or tangential mount threads are stripped
